“Blue Metaphor Ltd Presents” is a series of themed events bringing all art forms together, with filmmaking at the center, and a series of talks and workshops.

Curated by Bristol-based producer and director Sheherazade Bodin and owner of Blue Metaphor Ltd, the idea is to give filmmakers a real plateform to talk about their projects, their process and ask questions to other filmmakers about theirs. We also give the mic to performers, to talk about their disciplines.

“I wanted to create a space where all art disciplines could meet, giving the opportunity to the audience to discover art performances they wouldn’t normally go to. It can feel overwhelming to pay a full price ticket to discover something, with the fear that in the end, we didn’t enjoy it.

With these events, people can pay a small fee to dive into so many different art forms!

Moreover, the art world and the film industry can feel quite elitist. It is hard to get a foot in those worlds, especially for those without any connections. I wanted to create an event where everyone is welcome, in a safe, inclusive, chill environement and can feel free to ask any questions and meet other creatives.” -Sheherazade
