In collaboration with Optical Jukebox, we interviewed two different households about their housing situations for the University of Nottingham.
Setting her camera at the interviewee's home, Emma (Optical Jukebox) followed Janet, a sixty six years old disabled woman who lives in a council house. The idea was to create short videos (between 10 and 15 min long) to be used during workshops in councils to find better solution in the face of the housing crisis in the UK.
Blue Metaphor acted as research assistant to help find people to interview. At the end, Blue Metaphor was the film editor, working hard to keep true to the interviewee, trying their best to create videos that would transpire the interviewee character and the struggles they face.
