About the event

Lizzie’s first casting job was as assistant to Casting Director Lucy Bevan on Sir Kenneth’s Branagh’s feature film ‘Cinderella’. She went on to assist on TV series like ‘River’ and ‘Outlander’, and big budget features like ‘Mission Impossible 5’, ‘The Hundred Foot Journey’, ‘Legend’, ‘Kingsman,’ and ‘Straight Outta Compton’.

Lizzie was part of the casting team behind many shows for the West End, Bath Theatre Royal and Bristol Old Vic, and has worked as Casting Director on plays at The Trafalgar Studios and The Park, rehearsed readings at The National Theatre, and several independent UK films. Her website can be seen here

During a 45 minutes talk, Lizzie will dive into do's and don'ts for actors, answering questions like:

  • How to be successful at auditions? Sometimes, it is more than just getting the part...

  • How to maintain a good relationship with casting directors? How to establish it?
